Selection and Applications

Identify the outlet thread and male or female connection first. Then compare the core, seal, installation space and shell material.

Kitchen, basin and bathtub applications cannot be determined from the shell alone. Test the assembled stream pattern, flow and installation under the relevant operating conditions.

For imperial-thread projects, provide the full thread designation and an existing sample. Confirm the orientation and seals at both ends of BU1555.

Assembly note:A shell alone does not set the stream pattern or flow. Confirm the selected core, seal and operating conditions.

Common Questions

Can brass and SS304 shells with the same thread be interchanged?

The thread alone is not enough. Check the core seat, seal, outer dimensions and installation space before substituting one shell for another.

Is the flow range in a shell sheet a guaranteed finished-product flow?

No. Finished flow depends on the corresponding core, supply pressure and complete water path. Share target flow and test conditions for review.

Can the shell be purchased separately?

Tell us whether you need the shell alone, a corresponding core or a complete assembled aerator. Confirm the available supply scope for the project.

Can an imperial shell be replaced by one with a similar diameter?

No. Check the full imperial thread designation, male or female connection, seal position and installation depth. Provide a sample when needed.

How are the two ends of BU1555 connected?

The sheet identifies one male and one female end. Confirm orientation, seals and core mounting with project drawings or samples.
