Flow Restrictors for Faucet and Shower Waterways

Limit flow in faucet, shower, overhead-shower and water-heater inlet waterways. Choose washer-type, thin, insert-type or removable formats by connection and installation position.

MC Washer-Type | Hose and Spray-Head Connections

MC Washer-Type | Hose and Spray-Head Connections

MC1900 / MC1901 serve shower joints, with a removal lug on MC1901. MC2100 serves pull-out spray-head inlets; MC2500 serves faucet bodies and G3/4 inlet connections.

Connection flow restriction

Select by connection position, then decide whether regular removal is needed.

MA Thin | Faucet and Overhead-Shower Inlets

MA Thin | Faucet and Overhead-Shower Inlets

MA0800–MA1200 serve cartridge inlets, braided hoses and compact showers. MA1800 primarily serves G1/2 overhead inlets; MA1900 serves larger shower waterways.

Inlet flow control

Small faucet waterways and overhead inlets need different fits; target flow alone does not make models interchangeable.

MB Insert-Type | Handles and Inlet Pipes

MB Insert-Type | Handles and Inlet Pipes

MB1380 primarily serves water-heater and wall-hung boiler inlet pipes; MB1400 serves handles and tail connectors, MB1500 overhead inlets and shower pipes, and MB1600 / MB1640 internal pipe positions.

Water-heater inlet / shower connector / pipe bore

Internal flow restriction

Choose by bore and installation depth. Water-heater inlet applications refer to the water side.

H9 Removable | Low-Pressure Showers

H9 Removable | Low-Pressure Showers

HL1814H9 / HL1815H9 serve shower inlets requiring removable restriction in 14mm and 15mm waterways respectively.

Low-pressure shower / overhead-shower inlet

Removable flow restriction

Removing the restrictor may allow more flow but does not boost supply pressure.

What Guides the Choice

Installation position

Identify a connection, threaded inlet or internal cavity before selecting the format.

Service needs

Compare MC1901 for regular cleaning and H9 when the restriction needs to be removable.

Flow conditions

Specify flow at the intended pressure, then evaluate the selected model in the complete assembly.

Dimensional fit

Outside diameter is not pipe size. Check depth, retention and sealing against the drawing.

Start with the Restrictor Installation Position

Send a connection photo or cavity drawing, target flow, pressure and removal requirements. Include model and quantity if known.
