Waterway Components for Small Appliances and Drinking-Water Equipment

For coffee-machine, smart-toilet, gas-water-heater and drinking-water equipment programs, Jay&Min helps brands, manufacturers and OEM / ODM buyers compare aerator cores, flow restrictors and check valves by equipment needs, waterway position and operating conditions.

Built Around Your Equipment Program

Small-Appliance Brands

For coffee machines and other compact water-using equipment, evaluate outlet patterns, target flow and space-efficient mounting.

Sanitary and Hot-Water Equipment Makers

Evaluate flow restriction and check functions for smart-toilet cleaning waterways and gas-water-heater or boiler water inlets, then validate with the equipment controls.

Engineering and OEM / ODM Buyers

Compare mounting, samples, flow configurations and production requirements before committing to a component.

Four Questions Before Selecting a Component

Where Does It Fit?

An outlet core, an inlet restrictor and a check valve serve different positions. Confirm cavity dimensions, sealing, retention and flow direction.

What Water Delivery Is Needed?

Define stream shape, target flow and filling conditions. Restricting flow is different from metering a fixed dispensing volume.

What Are the Operating Conditions?

Check temperature, pressure, start-up and cleaning conditions. Relevant current component sheets commonly list 0–55°C; hot-water and steam applications need separate confirmation.

Which Documents Apply?

Review materials, water-contact requirements and current documents by model and market. A component document does not certify the complete appliance.

Select Components by Equipment Application

Coffee Machines: Compact and Low-Flow Outlets

Compare MJ1600, NX1650 and NX1850 compact cores by outlet size and stream requirements, or review MJ2408, which has a listed coffee-machine application direction. Confirm the exact waterway position, sealing, removal access and water delivery. Current relevant sheets list 0–55°C; this does not establish suitability for hot extraction or steam. Fixed-volume dispensing still requires validation with the appliance controls. Compare Small-Size Aerator Cores Review the MJ2408 Low-Flow Core

Smart Toilets: Cleaning-Water Flow and Check Functions

For smart toilets and integrated bidet equipment, start with cleaning-water flow, direction, available space and service access. Evaluate restrictors when inlet flow needs limiting, check valves when backflow control is required, or a combined structure when both functions share one installation point. DB1400 is a structural reference; select the actual model against the equipment drawing, temperature and assembly tests. Compare Flow Restrictors Compare Check-Valve Structures

Gas Water Heaters and Boilers: MB1380 Inlet Flow Control

MB1380 is a selection route for the water-side inlet of gas water heaters and wall-hung boilers. Under intended conditions, it limits unnecessary excessive flow and provides a more manageable inlet condition for the equipment controls. Review target flow, supply-pressure range, minimum operating flow and cavity fit; a 12 L or 16 L capacity rating alone does not determine the setting. This concerns the water inlet, not the gas line or hot-water outlet. Review MB1380 Insert-Type Flow Restrictors Explore the Gas Water Heater Inlet Solution

Drinking-Water Equipment: Compact Inlets and Outlets

Separate inlet restriction from final outlet requirements. For selected compact drinking-water faucet inlets, review the listed MA0900 9 mm connection application. Where an aerated outlet is needed, compare compact cores or concealed threaded formats. These components do not replace water-treatment filters; review water-contact materials, cleaning conditions and hygiene documents for the intended use. Bring the Waterway Drawing to the Review

Share the equipment type, component position, inlet and outlet connections, cavity drawing and flow direction. Identify whether the position handles ambient water, heated water or a cleaning cycle.

Specify target flow, pressure range, temperature, dispensing requirements, materials and target market. Request current model documents and agree sample checks for filling, leakage, water delivery and any required backflow performance.

From Drawing to Component Approval

01

1. Define the Water Path

Provide the installation position, connection drawing and available space.

02

2. Compare Configurations

Review stream, flow, temperature, pressure and material requirements.

03

3. Validate Samples

Check assembly, leakage and water delivery in the complete equipment.

04

4. Confirm Supply

Agree the selected configuration, documents, quantity, packaging and delivery plan.

Common Questions

Can these components be installed directly in a coffee machine?

Not from the equipment name alone. The application guide lists some small-bore and low-flow options, but installation position, water temperature, pressure and materials must match. Current relevant sheets list 0–55°C, so suitability for hot extraction or steam is not established.

Does an aerator purify drinking water?

No. An aerator shapes the outlet stream; it is not a water-treatment filter. Drinking-water suitability and hygiene documentation must be checked separately for the selected model and materials.

Can a flow restrictor dispense an exact volume?

A restrictor controls or limits flow under specified conditions. It does not replace the appliance's metering, timing or dispensing control, and fixed-volume accuracy requires complete-equipment validation.

Is MA0900 suitable for every 9 mm inlet?

No. The listed application is a selection starting point. Cavity dimensions, thickness, retention, sealing and actual operating conditions determine fit.

Can MB1380 be selected from a 12 L or 16 L heater rating?

Not from capacity alone. Review target inlet flow, supply-pressure range, minimum operating flow, cavity fit and appliance control requirements. MB1380 concerns the water-side inlet, not the gas line or hot-water outlet.

What information is needed for an OEM / ODM inquiry?

Send equipment and installation photos or drawings, target flow and stream, pressure and temperature conditions, market, expected quantity and customization needs. Samples and document scope can then be reviewed by configuration.
