Faucet Aerator Accessories

Jay&Min offers brass and SS304 aerator shells, along with vandal-resistant shells that require a dedicated wrench for removal. Check the shell thread, male or female connection, core, seal and faucet outlet together before selecting an assembly.

How to Select a Shell

Confirm the faucet outlet

Provide the full thread designation, male or female connection and available installation space. Similar diameters do not establish compatibility.

Check the core and shell together

The shell connects to the outlet and houses a core. The stream pattern and target flow also depend on the core, seal and operating conditions.

Choose material and removal method

Compare brass and SS304 against your project requirements. For VP shells, confirm the dedicated wrench and future service procedure.

Common Questions

What is the difference between a shell and a complete aerator?

The shell is one mounting component. A complete aerator also involves the core, seal and specific assembly. Tell us which supply scope you need.

Is the faucet thread enough to select a shell?

It is the starting point. Connection direction, installation depth, seal position and core fit also need to be checked.

Are vandal-resistant shells impossible to remove?

No. The customer sheets state that removal requires a dedicated wrench. Confirm the tool and maintenance arrangement for the project.

How should we choose standard or vandal-resistant shells?

Confirm the outlet and core assembly first, then review removal and servicing requirements. For VP models, also confirm the dedicated wrench.

What information is needed for an accessories quote?

Send outlet or existing shell photos, the full thread designation, core model, material and expected quantity so the supply scope can be reviewed.
