The Installation Position Determines the Format
Shower brands and manufacturers can start with the available position in the waterway. Washer-type, thin, insert-type and removable restrictors suit different assemblies; target flow alone does not make them interchangeable.

Hose-to-shower connections
MC1900 includes a soft washer. Compare lugged MC1901 where regular removal for cleaning is needed.
Inside handles and overhead showers
Review MB1400 for tail connectors and handles; compare MA1800 or MB1500 by threaded or internal inlet position.
Insufficient low-pressure flow
Compare removable H9 models for upper-floor or solar-fed supplies. Removal can eliminate the restriction but does not increase supply pressure.

Locate the component
Identify a hose joint, G1/2 overhead inlet or internal handle or pipe cavity.
Define removal needs
Compare MC1901 for regular removal and H9 where the restriction needs to be removable in low-pressure use.
Check the fit
Check connection, cavity fit and depth. Select MB1400 or MB1500 against the corresponding dimensions.
Assess the complete shower
At the intended supply pressure, check the sample assembly for spray performance and target flow.

MC1900 / MC1901 | Hose Connections

MA1800 | G1/2 Overhead Inlets

Check Spray Performance at the Intended Pressure
Confirm target flow together with supply pressure, internal waterways and spray-hole performance.

Which option is easier to remove at a hose joint?
Compare lugged MC1901 for cleaning access. MC1900 serves conventional connection-point restriction.
Should an overhead shower use MA1800 or MB1500?
MA1800 serves G1/2 threaded inlets; MB1500 serves internal installation positions. Choose by the actual waterway structure.
Does H9 solve low supply pressure?
H9 allows removal of the restriction but does not boost pressure. Check low-pressure performance with the complete shower sample.
